The learned counsel for the Appellant submits that, the Accused is in jail and hence his liberty is restricted and which has resulted into causing of the delay in filing of the Appeal in conviction and hence same be condoned.

Admittedly, the Appellant is in jail, this would become sufficient ground for condonation of delay. The Application stands allowed in terms of prayer Clause (a). 5.
