Heard Mr. Sandeep Ladda, learned Advocate for the Petitioners/Applicants, Mr. Sukanta Karmakar, learned A.P.P. for the State/Respondent and Mr. Shashikant Chandak, learned Advocate for Respondent No. 2.

By the present Interim Application, the Petitioners/Applicants have sought for the following substantive relief :- "b) That this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to grant leave to amend the Criminal Writ Petition (L). 6423 of 2024 in terms of Schedule A to this Application."

Mr. Sandeep Ladda, learned Advocate for the Petitioners/Applicants submits that the charge-sheet was filed during pendency of this Petition. He therefore submits that the Petitioners/Applicants intend to challenge the charge-sheet, which is appended to the Interim Application.

Mr. Shashikant Chandak, learned Advocate for Respondent No. 2 submits that the Petitioners/Applicants were granted leave to file an Application to seek amendment to challenge the chargesheet, in the year 2024, however the same was not filed by the Petitioners/Applicants till the month of September 2025. He however fairly submits that the charge-sheet being filed in the subject crime, Respondent No. 2 does not object to the proposed amendment, to raise challenge to the charge-sheet, though reserves her right to object on merits of the matter/amended pleadings. 5.
In view of the above, leave to amend in terms of Schedule 'A', which is appended to the Interim Application is granted. Amendment be carried out within a period of 7 days from today by serving a advance copy of the amended Petition on the other side. Leave to produce charge-sheet and documents forming part of the charge-sheet on record is granted.

Mr. Shashikant Chandak, learned Advocate for Respondent
No. 2 states that leave be granted to file reply to the amended Petition. Leave granted. Reply, if any, be filed by Respondent No. 2 within a period of 2 weeks of receipt of the amended Petition. Advance copy of the Reply be served on the other side. 7.
Interim Application No. 3307 of 2025 is allowed in the above said terms.
