The Applicant seeks relaxation of condition (c) of paragraph 6 of the order dated 17th August 2022, whereby he was directed to report to the D.C.P.(Crime), CID (Unit No.1), Crawford Market, Mumbai on every Saturday between 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

At the outset, Ms. Pai submits that the trial is almost at its fag end and the recording of evidence is nearly concluded. Mr. Trivedi has placed on record the attendance notes to show that the Applicant has been regularly reporting to the police station in terms of the condition sought to be relaxed. 4.

I have gone through the papers. It appears that the Applicant has been regularly attending the police station as well as the Trial Court. Since the trial is almost over, no purpose will be served by compelling the Applicant to report to the D.C.P. (Crime), CID (Unit No.1), Crawford Market, Mumbai, at this stage. Hence, condition (c) of paragraph 6 of the order dated 17th August 2022 stands deleted. 5.

Rest of the order remains as it is.

The Interim Application is allowed and disposed of accordingly.
