Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

This is an Application seeking permission to travel abroad. The prayer clause (a) seek Permission to travel in two tranches, first to Dubai from 31/10/2025 to 15/11/2025 and second to Singapore, Indoneshia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand for the period from 31/01/2026 to 05/04/2026. 3.

Learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that Applicant is presently 75 years old and wishes to travel to Dubai for negotiating marriage proposal of son of his cousin brother. He submitted that many times in the past, the Applicant has been permitted to travel and he has traveled and returned to India, by abiding to conditions imposed. 4.

Learned counsel for the Respondent-CBI opposed the request, on the ground that the Applicant may not come back or abscond and he is already 1/3

convicted for the offences punishable under sections 420, 467, 471 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and section 13(2) r/w. 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and has been sentenced to undergo imprisonment of 3 years.

I have considered the submissions and perused earlier orders. Presently, request for travel to Dubai is only being considered. 6.

Considering that under earlier orders starting from May 2012 till last order dated 26/03/2024, that the Applicant has been granted similar permissions on various occasions, and further considering that no material is brought to the notice of the Court indicating that the Applicant had violated any condition imposed upon him during earlier travels, I am inclined to grant the application, presently for the purpose of travel to Dubai.

The Applicant is permitted to travel to Dubai from 31/10/2025 to 15/11/2025 on following conditions :

(a) Before leaving the country, the Applicant shall furnish to the Respondent-CBI, his detailed travel itinerary including travel tickets, places where the Applicant proposes to stay, contact number/s, email ID of the Applicant's relative with whom he proposes to stay.

(b) Before leaving the country, the Applicant shall file affidavit cum undertaking in this Court, stating that he will return back to India as per travel itinerary and will not seek extension from the foreign soil.

(c) The Applicant shall intimate the Respondent-CBI upon 2/3

his return.

It is clarified that Application is kept pending for consideration of remaining prayer for next part of travel.
