Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner. 2.
The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that, the F.I.R No. 563/2018, out of which the instant writ petition and application arose, has been quashed by an order dated 17th December, 2025 in WP/4891/2018 and the connected writ petitions.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner thus seeks leave to withdraw the petition and the applications. The learned Counsel seeks further directions for the refund of amount of Rs. 2,50,000/-(Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand) deposited by the SAINATH, PA 1/2
902 IA 3481-25 .DOC petitioner in Special Case No. 422/2022 and the return of the passport of brother of petitioner, deposited pursuant to the order of this Court in the instant writ petition dated 23th October, 2024.

A copy of the order in WP/4891/2018 and the connected petitions dated 17th December 2025 is tendered for the perusal of the Court.

It appears that in view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the Division Bench has quashed the F.I.R. No. 562/2018 as well as F.I.R. No. 563/2018.

In view of the aforesaid development, nothing survives in these petition and applications. The writ petition and applications thus stands disposed as withdrawn. 7.
The amount of Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand), if deposited by the petitioner by way of security in Special Case No. 422/2022, and the passport of brother of the petitioner, if deposited with the Sr. PI Bhartiya Vidya Police Station, as a condition for travel abroad, be returned to the petitioner.
