By way of the present Interim Application, the Applicant seeks modification of clause [3] of paragraph 6 of bail order dated 3rd April 2024 whereby, the Applicant was directed to mark his presence at N.M. Joshi Marg police station on the first Monday of every month between 11 am to 1 pm for a period of three years or till conclusion of the trial whichever is earlier.

Mr. S. Kanagaraj, learned counsel appearing for the Applicant, submits that the only reason why the Applicant is seeking modification of clause [3] of the aforesaid order, is that, he is a permanent resident of Tamil Nadu and it is very difficult for him to travel to Mumbai to attend the Police Station therein every month in view of his business and other activities in Tamil Nadu.

The charges are framed. In this view of the matter, I am inclined to allow modification of clause [3] of paragraph 6 of the order dated 3rd April 2024. However, instead of marking his presence at the Police Station concerned in the Mumbai, the Applicant shall attend and mark his presence at Pattabiram Police Station, Chennai, Tamil Nadu on the first Saturday of every month between 11 am to 1 pm for a period of three years or till conclusion of the trial whichever is earlier, as originally directed by this Court in the order dated 3rd April 2024.

Rest of the order remains as it is.
