Learned Counsel for the Applicant pressed for the suspension of sentence and grant of bail. The contention of learned Counsel for the Applicant is that Applicant is in custody for more than 12 years. 2.

However, looking to the nature of ofence and indings recorded by the trial Court and also considering the objection raised by learned APP that there are criminal antecedents of Applicant, we are inclined to list the appeal itself for inal hearing on 22nd January 2026. 3.

List the Appeal for inal hearing on 22nd January 2026. If for any reason, the appeal is not taken up for hearing on the next date, request for suspension of sentence and grant of bail will be taken up for consideration.
