This is an application for modification/relaxation of condition No.(iii) imposed on the applicant vide order dated 30th March, 2022 passed in Anticipatory Bail Application No.847 of 2022. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the applicant as well as the learned A.P.P for the non-applicant - State. I have also gone through the copy of the passport.

Upon perusal of the copy of the passport placed on record, it appears that the same has expired on 28th February, 2026. In absence of renewal of the said passport, the applicant would not be in a position to travel abroad. It further appears that the present application mentions a tentative itinerary with specific dates. In view thereof, the present Application is kept pending. In the meantime, the applicant is permitted to collect the passport from Miraj City Police Station, District Sangli and take steps to have the same renewed in accordance with law. Upon renewal, the Applicant shall deposit the renewed passport with Miraj City Police Station. Upon completion of this exercise, the applicant may press this application for relaxation of condition (iii). 4.

Hence, the following order;

: O R D E R :

(i) Investigating officer, Miraj City Police Station, District Sangli is directed to hand over the passport to the applicant forthwith.

(ii) The applicant is directed to hand over the renewed passport to the Investigating Officer at Miraj City Police Station, District Sangli as soon as it is renewed. (iii) Liberty is granted to the applicant to file affidavit. 5.

Stand over to 9th June,2026.
