This application is filed for suspension of substantive sentence of imprisonment of six years awarded to the applicant by learned Special Judge, Karad in Special Case No. 20/2024. 2.

Learned APP has strenuously opposed the application stating that the Trial Court has found applicant guilty and has rightly convicted him, therefore, he is not entitled for suspension of his substantive sentence.

The applicant was on bail during trial. This being short term Bhagyawant Punde

{2} 503.1-APPLN-3733-2025 sentence, application is allowed.

Substantive sentence of imprisonment of six years awarded to the applicant by learned Special Judge, Karad in Special Case No. 20/2024 is hereby suspended on same terms and conditions as were imposed by the Trial Court.
