1) Heard, Mr. Gajra, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicants, in Interim Application No. 3988 of 2025 and Interim Application No. 3989 of 2025, Mr. Metkari, learned APP for the State and Mr. D.P. Singh for Respondent No.2.

K.R. Gadekar 933-IA-3988--2025.doc 2) The Applicants are seeking following reliefs : "a. That this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to direct the Respondent No.2 to consider the application of present applicant for renewal of Applicant's Passport for 10 years." 3) Mr. D.P. Singh, learned Counsel for the Passport Authority of India, fairly states that there is no objection in renewing the passport, provided that the renewal shall be permissible as per the applicable rules. He further states that this no objection is only qua present proceeding and shall not have any bearing in any other proceedings, if pending against the applicants in any other Court / Courts.

4) Thus, the Interim Applications are allowed in terms of Prayer Clause 'a' subject to compliance with all the applicable rules and procedure and the subject to taking permission of the Court, if any other proceeding are pending against the Applicant. It is however, made clear that, if the passport is renewed the Applicants shall not travel abroad on the said passport without prior permission of this Court. 5) Interim Applications are allowed in above terms and disposed of as such.
