CORAM

DR. NEELA GOKHALE, J.

DATED:

25TH NOVEMBER 2025 PC:- 1.

This is an Application seeking modification of the condition imposed, while releasing the Applicant on bail, by order dated 29th September, 2025. The condition sought to be modified is directing the Applicant to execute a PR Bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one or two local sureties in the like amount.

2.

Ms. Shaikh, learned counsel for the Applicant, states that although the Applicant resides in Palghar, he is 25th November 2025

Prasad Rajput (P.A.) 906_IA_4308_2025.doc unable to secure sureties from the local jurisdiction of Thane district. She submits that he will, however, be able to furnish one or two local sureties from outside Thane, but within the jurisdiction of Mumbai.

3.

Ms. Bajoria, learned APP representing the State, does not seriously object to the said modification. 4.

In that view of the matter, interests of justice will be served, if the Applicant is permitted to furnish a PR Bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one or two local sureties in the like amount, either from Palghar or Mumbai, instead of requiring sureties only of the local jurisdiction of Thane. Accordingly, the Applicant is so permitted. Rest of the conditions in the order, remain the same.

5.

Interim Application is allowed in the aforesaid terms and is disposed.
