The Applicant seeks modification of Condition (ii) of order dated 8th January 2020, which is as follows: "ii) The applicant shall not enter the jurisdiction of Samata Nagar Police Station and shall not involve in similar type of offences."

Mr. Abhishek Bandekar, learned Counsel for the Applicant, submits that the Applicant has complied with all the conditions imposed by the bail order till date. He further submits that the recording of evidence has commenced and 24th December 2025

907-IA-4361-2025.DOC two witnesses have been examined, including the Complainant. He also submits that the Applicant is desirous of contesting the local elections and hence, he needs to enter the jurisdiction of Samata Nagar Police Station.

Considering that the statement of the Complainant is already recorded by the Trial Court, trial has commenced and that the Applicant intends to contest the elections and needs to enter the jurisdiction of Samata Nagar Police Station for that purpose, I am inclined to allow the modification of the order as sought by the Applicant.

The modified condition (ii) of paragraph 7 shall read as under:

"(ii) The Applicant shall not involve in similar type of offences."

Rest of the order remains as it is.

6.

The Interim Application is allowed and is accordingly disposed of.
