This is an application for condonation of the delay of 20 days in filing application for leave to file Appeal against the Judgment and order dated 24.07.2025 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Vadgaon Maval, District Pune, in Special Case No.24 of 2022. 20-ia-4408-25 charges of commission of offences punishable under sections 302, 363, 376(2)(f), 366(A) and 201 of the IPC and under sections 3(a) and 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. 3.
Learned APP invited our attention to paragraph-2 of the application and submitted that, since some time was lost in forwarding the papers from the office of the Public Prosecutor at Pune to the Law and Judiciary Department, Mantralaya; there was a delay in filing the application for leave to file Appeal. 4.
Considering these submissions and since the delay is of only 20 days, in the interest of justice, the application is allowed. The delay of 20 days in filing the application for leave to file Appeal is condoned.
