This Court by order dated 30th September 2022 passed in Writ Petition No.2985 of 2022 directed the trial Court to decide Case No.356/PW/2019 as far as possible within a period of two years.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that though the period of two years is already over there is no progress in the matter. It is submitted that the trial Court be therefore directed to conduct the trial on day to day basis and decide the case in question within a period of one year.

On the other hand, learned APP for the respondent/State submits that one of the accused is absconding. It is submitted that some of the accused are not appearing and therefore, warrant is issued against them.

Considering the facts and circumstances, it is not possible to issue directions as sought. However, in view of earlier directions issued by this Court, the trial Court shall make an endeavour to decide the case in-question within a period of one year. 5.
