By order dated 17th February 2025, passed by this Court (Coram: Milind N. Jadhav, J.), the Applicant was released on bail on certain conditions. One of the conditions was that the Applicant was directed to furnish P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount.

Mr. Prem Kumar Pandey, learned counsel appearing for the Applicant, submits that the Applicant is an indigent person and is unable to comply with the said condition. He seeks reduction of the said amount and also seeks his release on cash bail for a period of 4 weeks.

Considering the averments made in the Application and submissions made by Mr. Pandey, learned counsel appearing for the Applicant, the Applicant is directed to be released on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.5,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount.

In the meantime, the Applicant is permitted to furnish cash bail of Rs.5,000/- for his release and file an undertaking that he will provide one or two sureties in the like amount of Rs.5,000/- within a period of four weeks after his release, which shall be accepted by the Trial Court. The Applicant shall provide the sureties as directed, within the said period.

It is made clear that the Applicant shall not in any way try to contact the Victim/Complainant in the present C.R. 6.

Rest of the order remains as it is.

The Interim Application is accordingly, allowed and disposed of.
