In this appeal under section 13(1-A) of the Commercial Courts Act, 2015, the appellant has assailed the validity of the order dated 23rd December 2024 granting an ad-interim order restraining the appellant from encashing the Fixed Deposits. 2.
Learned counsel for the appellant fairly submitted that the defendant no. 2 has filed the notice of motion for injunction restraining the appellant from encashing the Fixed Deposits, to which reply affidavit shall be filed by the appellant on or before 4th April 2025, which is the next date of hearing. 3.
In view of the aforesaid submission and taking into account the fact that the ad-interim order passed in favour of the defendant no. 2 is in operation since 23rd December 2024
29-COMAO.8.2025.doc and reply to the notice of motion for injunction shall be filed by the appellant on or before 4th April 2025, we deem it appropriate to direct the Trial Court to decide the application for injunction filed by the defendant no. 2 expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of filing of the reply by the appellant.

With the aforesaid direction, the appeal is disposed of. 5.
