DATE :

22nd APRIL 2026 P.C.:

1.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

2.

The order herein which is breached is 18th December 2017. There is a delay on the part of the contemnors in complying with the AMOL PREMNATH JADHAV said order.

AMOL PREMNATH JADHAV Date: 2026.04.23 12:56:06 +0530 3.

By the order dated 2nd July 2025, this Court had deleted respondent no. 1 - Smt. Meena Shendkar from the Suo Moto Contempt Petition for the reasons stated therein.

45-CP-197-2025 4.

Learned counsel for the newly added respondent no. 2 - Sheshrao Bade, Education Officer, Zilla Parishad Plaghar in the Suo Moto Contempt Petition has filed an affidavit that the order passed by this Court has been complied with. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits he has a grievance about the manner in which the order dated 18th December 2017 passed by this Court is complied with. However, in this regard, the petitioner has already filed a Writ Petition challenging the order dated 1st November 2022 passed by the Education Officer which is at page 45 of the Contempt Petition. The Education Officer has further stated that the delay in complying with the order is not intentional and an unconditional apology has been tendered for not complying with the order passed by this Court at that time. In that view of the matter, we are not inclined to take the Contempt Petition any further as there is a substantial compliance of the order passed by this Court.

5.

By keeping open all contentions of the petitioner to be raised in the Writ Petition which is pending before the learned Single Judge, both the Contempt Petitions are disposed of. ( FARHAN P. DUBASH, J. ) ( M. S. KARNIK, J. ) Amol
