This matter was kept back in the morning session as the Petitioner who appeared in-person had sought time to take instructions in the matter.

When the matter is called out in the afternoon session, the Petitioner appearing in-person tenders to the Associate of the Court, a cheque dated 15th July 2025 for Rs.3,50,000/- in favour of the Prothonotary & Senior Master, requesting that the delay in depositing the same be condoned and the said cheque be accepted as security for costs.

Let the said cheque be deposited with the Prothonotary & Senior Master during the course of the day.

As regards the application under Section 109 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 is concerned, the Petitioner submits that since his Advocate is not available today, some time be granted.

Mr. Karande, learned Counsel, appearing for the Respondent No.6 submits that this Court may in view of the submissions made earlier dismiss the Petition if the Application for withdrawal is not being made.

Be that as it may, list on 29th July 2025, on the Supplementary Board.

It is made clear that if an Application under Section 109 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 is not made, this Court will proceed to pass appropriate orders.

Let the Petitioner also remain present in Court on the next date.
