Heard learned Advocates appearing for the respective parties.

On 18.08.2025, the following order was passed:- "1.

Heard 2.

Application (L) No. 22753/2025 is filed by Election Commission of India. Affidavit in reply dated 14.08.2025 has been filed by Petitioner in response to the Application.

It is prima facie seen that Petitioner does not have any issue with respect to grant of prayer clause (a), however he has expressed certain reservation regarding grant of prayer clause (c). In that view of the matter, Mr. Panickar, learned Advocate appearing for Election Commission of India is directed to take appropriate instructions and accordingly apprise the Court on the next date of hearing in order to enable this Court to determine the present Petition.

In the meanwhile, Petitioner is directed to serve copy of the Election Petition on the returned candidate i.e Respondent No. 1 whose Advocate has made a grievance before the Court that he has not been served. Details are given to the Advocate for Petitioner.

Mr. Sarode in his usual fairness informs the Court that he has placed objections only with respect to prayer clauses (c) and (d) in the Interim Application filed by Election Petition. 4.

Mr. Panicker submits that some time be given to him as he has sought instructions with respect to the Affidavit-in-Reply filed by Petitioner.
