Pursuant to order dated 20th March, 2025, today when the matter is called out, Mr.Aurup Dasgupta, learned Counsel appears for the Petitioners and submits that in deference to the orders of this Court, a Home Study Report dated 11th September, 2024 has been furnished by the High Commission of India at Singapore which has been filed on 26th March, 2025.

Mr.O. Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the Indian Counsel of Social Welfare ("ICSW") has in pursuance to the said Home Study Report filed an additional report of the ICSW and drawing this Court's attention to Regulation 57(6) of the Adoption Regulations, 2022 has submitted that since Singapore is not a signatory to the Hague Adoption Convention, in respect of Indian citizens, family background report of the relative's child and prior approval letter from the Authority is to be forwarded to the Government department concerned or Indian Mission of that Country which shall issue a recommendation letter to the Central Adoption Resource Authority ("CARA"). 3.

Mr.Hareendran has also once again pointed out that the adoption is an inter-country adoption and that accordingly the Petition be renumbered as a Foreign Adoption Petition.

Mr.Dasgupta, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners seeks some time to take instructions.
