Interim Application (L) No. 12901 of 2025 :

This Interim Application seeks amendment of the Guardianship Petition to bring it under Clause 17 of the Letters Patent Act, which confers jurisdiction to this Court as to infants, idiots and lunatics and mentally incapacitated persons.

2.

Having heard the learned Counsel and having considered her submissions, this Court is of the view that the Interim Application be allowed.

Let the Guardianship Petition be amended in terms of the Schedule.

As far as paragraph 6 is concerned, the amendment be made as per the alternative (II).

5.

Let amendment be carried out within a period of two weeks from re-opening/after summer vacation.

The Interim Application accordingly stands allowed and disposed as above.
