This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed praying for the substantive relief that the appeal filed by the petitioner, pending before respondent No.1, be decided expeditiously.

Learned Counsel for respondent No.1, on instructions of the officer who is present in the Court, states that the appeal would be decided within four weeks. 3.

If that be so, further adjudication of the petition is not called for. 4.

Respondent No.1 shall decide the appeal in accordance with law on its own merits, after granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The appeal be decided within four weeks.

All the contentions of the parties are expressly kept open. 6.
