It is undisputed that the Petitioner has now been inducted as a full-time librarian vide the notification dated 19.03.2025, marked as 'X-1'. The Petitioner's joining report dated 19.03.2025, is marked as 'X2'. Rejoinder affidavit of the Petitioner, on his request, is kept on record. 2.

The learned AGP submits, on instructions, that the calculations of the Petitioner's arrears are in progress. 3.

In view of the above, we direct that the concerned authority, Senior Auditor cum Deputy Director of Education, Mumbai, is directed Gayatri Shimpi

906-WP-1246-2025.odt to complete the calculations and take a decision on 5th January, 2026. A reasoned order, if required, be passed. The arrears shall be paid to the Petitioner within 30 days thereafter.

By virtue of the above directions, this Petition is disposed off.

List the disposed off Petition for compliance on 13th February, 2026.

In so far as the claim of increments is concerned, the Petitioner is at liberty to address a proper representation to the concerned authority, setting forth the grounds for his claim for increments. If such a representation is tendered, the same may be considered by the competent authority by following the due procedure laid down in law, within a period of 60 days from the date of the filing of the representation.
