Matter is kept today for recording compliance of the orders dated 30th April 2025 and 3rd July 2025. In our order dated 3rd July 2025, we in paragraph No.6 recorded the statement of Mr. Milind Shenoy, who had appeared through video conferencing. He had assured and undertaken to this Court that hybrid hearing system will be implemented within four weeks from the date of the order. We accepted the said statement and by way of last chance, extended the time by four weeks to enable the authorities to ensure that the Waqf Tribunal starts functioning in hybrid mode.

We are informed today by learned counsel for the Petitioner that despite the said statement made by Mr. Shenoy, the hybrid system is not made operational.

According to Mr. Chavan, learned senior counsel system will be operational from tomorrow.

Stand over to 5th August 2025 at 3:00 p.m.

We make it clear, that if the hybrid system is not made operational, we will be constrained to take appropriate steps against the concerned officers.
