We have heard learned Counsel for the parties. This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed, praying for the following reliefs: "a. This Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus or Writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, order and/or direction to the Respondent No.2 to complete the verification process of the eligible slum dwellers whose names have been notified in the draft Annexure-II in time bound manner.

b. This Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus or Writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, order and/or direction to the Respondents to issue Annexure-II pursuant to the draft Annexure-II."

Mr. Utangale, learned Counsel for respondent Nos.1 and 2, on instructions, states that now further steps, in regard to biometrics which is intended for finalizing Annexure II, are being taken. He submits such exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from today and Annexure II would, accordingly, be issued. We permit respondent Nos.1 and 2 to take all such 6 August 2025 P. 503WP-1791-25.DOC steps and finalize Annexure II within six weeks. We accept this statement. Thus, further adjudication of this proceeding is not called for. The petition is accordingly disposed of. Liberty to apply if necessity so arises. 4.

Insofar as the pending Section 13(2) proceedings as initiated on behalf of some of the members of the society, all contentions of the petitioner in that regard are expressly kept open. In the event, any such application is to be decided by the Chief Executive Officer of the SRA, the same be decided strictly in accordance with law.

Ad-interim order granted earlier stands vacated. 6.

Disposed of. No costs.
