The Petition challenges order dated 10 June 2024 passed by the learned Presiding Officer, Central Government Industrial Tribunal-II, Mumbai (CGIT). The Employees Provident Fund Officer (EPFO) is aggrieved by the impugned order as the learned Presiding Officer has granted unconditional stay on enforcement of orders passed under Sections 14B and 7Q of the Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 without directing deposit of any amount. As the hearing of the Petition progressed, Ms. Kanani, the learned counsel appearing for the Respondent, on instructions, submits that without prejudice to its rights and contentions, Respondent shall deposit before the Tribunal an amount of Rs.8,00,000/-. 2.

In that view of the matter, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the Petition. Respondent to deposit the amount of Rs.8,00,000/- in the katkam Page No.
