Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the land in question was acquired under Section 14 of the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971. However, despite repeated enquiries, necessary details could not be received by the petitioners, who is the owner of the land.

We, accordingly, direct respondent nos. 1 and 2 to place on record a reply affidavit. Let the same be filed within two weeks from today. The other respondents who have not filed the reply affidavit, the same be filed. 3.

We shall proceed to hear the parties on the adjourned date of hearing. 4.

Stand over to 19 November 2025.
