DATED : 15th SEPTEMBER, 2025 P.C. :- 1) Today this matter is placed for compliance of the Order dated 16th July, 2025 and submission is made by the learned Counsel for the Petitioner for return of Rs.10,00,000/- which the Petitioner had deposited in this Court for his travel abroad. The Order dated 16th July, 2025 in Clause 4(v) mentions thus :- "(v) The petitioner shall file an affidavit indicating the expenses incurred by her during the above travel and the source/s of income used for funding the said expenses with necessary proof. This affidavit shall also be served on the advocate for the respondent-banks within a period of one week from 23.08.2025."

2) Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that he has complied with those directions and an Affidavit is filed indicating the 1/2

Manoj 3-WP-2761-2025.doc expenses incurred by him during the travel and source/s of income used for funding those expenses with necessary proof. The Petitioner has filed that Affidavit which is on record. A copy is also served on the learned Counsel for the Respondent No.2.

3) Thus, Clause 4(v) stands complied with.

4) Clause 4(iv) of the said Order reads thus :- "(iv) Considering that the petitioner is traveling to London to attend his daughter's wedding, the petitioner shall deposit an amount of Rs.10,00,000/- in this Court within one week from today. On such deposit, the Registry shall invest the amount of Rs.10,00,000/- in a Fixed Deposit in a Nationalized Bank forthwith initially for a period of thirty days subject to further orders."

5) Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that since he has come back to India and has filed the Affidavit, this amount with the interest is required to be returned to him.

6) Considering this submission, the Registry shall take appropriate steps in returning that amount to the Petitioner. 7) With these directions, nothing further is required to be mentioned.
