(2024) 3 SCC 799 to fortify his case and submits that the petitioner-company has legitimate expectation to operate as per the conditions under the Consent-toOperate dated 26th June 2023. bgp Page | 1

Mr. Jayprakash Sen, the learned senior counsel for the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board informed the Court that in all there are 14 facilities in the State of Maharashtra including the petitioner-Company and the respondent no.4 to which Consent-toOperate has been granted by the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board.
