At our request, Mr. Adik appears for the Respondent. 3.

Mr. Dharmadhikari submits that the Petitioner's appeal before the Commissioner (Appeal) is pending since 2017. The copy of memo of the Appeal is at Exh-I to this Petition. He submits that the Petitioner has requested for personal hearing and disposal of this Appeal but neither is being done. On instructions, he also states that the Petitioner has been unofficially informed that the case papers are not traceable. 4.

In the above circumstances, we request Mr. Adik to find out the correct position and make a statement on the status of
