The Petitioners' representation (undated) is received by the Corporation on 07/12/2023. It is conceded that the Corporation has done nothing with the said representation.

The learned Advocate for the Corporation submits, on instructions, that the representation would be dealt with and an appropriate order would be passed within the timeline as may be granted by the Court.

Since the representation is pending since 07/12/2023, we direct the Corporation to follow the due procedure laid down in law and arrive at a decision on the representation, on or before 31/10/2025. The decision that may be arrived at, shall be communicated to the Petitioners on their email address within 5 days thereafter. 4.

In the event the Petitioners are held entitled to any refund of the amount, the statutory interest leviable, would also be taken into account and the said amount, with interest, would be returned to the Petitioners within 45 days thereafter. If an adverse order is passed, the Petitioners would be at liberty to avail of a remedy as may be permissible in law.
