We have considered the submissions of the learned Senior Advocate appearing on behalf of the Municipal Corporation. He has narrated the various dates and events by virtue of which the Municipal Corporation was directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 8th December, 2023 by following the due procedure laid down in law. 1/2

It is stated that the Petitioner would be called upon to address the Competent Authority, which is Respondent No.4, The Assistant Municipal Commissioner, 'D' Ward, Mumbai, and after hearing the Petitioner, a final reasoned order would be passed. This exercise would be completed within four weeks from today.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits, on instructions, that the Petitioner is agreeable. 4.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off with the following directions :

(a) The Petitioner would appear before Respondent No.4, Assistant Municipal Commissioner, 'D' Ward, Mumbai, on 6th October, 2025 at 11.30 am. Written submissions are permitted; (b) After the conclusion of the hearing, the Municipal Corporation would deliver an order with reasons, on or before 31st October, 2025.
