By order dated 14th August 2025 passed by the Division Bench of this Court, the Ministry of Home Affairs (Foreigners Division) was directed to decide the representation if made by the Petitioner as expeditiously as possible, keeping in mind the Petitioner's age and health and in any event, within six weeks from the date of receiving the said representation. 2.

The learned Counsel appearing for the Respondents has sought an extension of time to decide the representation which had been received from the Petitioner's wife on 22nd August 2025 and which was to be decided on or before 5th October 2025.

Extension of time is granted. The Respondent - Ministry of Home Affairs (Foreigners Division) shall decide the representation no later than 16th October 2025.
