Writ Petition has been placed today under the caption of compliance pursuant to the order dated 28 January 2026.

Ms. Prachi Tatake, learned Addl. GP has submitted that the policy decision is yet to be taken as certain details are awaited from Respondent No.2 which are not as yet forthcoming. She has sought for time to file an affidavit to bring this on record.

The Respondent No.1 - State shall file an affidavit-in-reply within a period of two weeks from today. The affidavit shall also state as to when the policy decision shall be taken by the Respondent No.1 - State. 4.

The remainder directions issued vide earlier order dated 19 November 2025 and which has been continued by the order dated 28 Pallavi 1/2

2 6-WP-3656-2025 (OS).doc January 2026 shall continue to apply. It is noted that Writ Petition had been disposed of by the said order dated 19 November 2025 and is being placed before this Court for compliance.

In view thereof, the Writ Petition shall be placed for compliance on 2 April 2026.
