After hearing the submissions of Mr. Kamat, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Writ Petitioners, we find that the primary grievance of the Petitioner expressed in this Writ Petition is to the effect that the Revision Petition preferred against the order dated 28th May, 2025 passed by the Divisional Joint Registrar, dismissing the Appeal preferred by the Writ Petitioners under Section 152 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act against the order dated 7th April, 2025, passed by the Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies, under Section 78A of the Act, is still pending REKHA PRAKASH PATIL REKHA PRAKASH PATIL Date: 2025.10.10 19:31:35 +0530

before the Hon'ble Departmental Minister. However, the Revision Petition has not been finally heard and decided by the Minister till date. Under such circumstances, the Petitioners seek a direction from this Court for expeditious disposal of the Revision Petition and in the meantime, continuance of interim protection granted by the order dated 14th July, 2025, passed in Writ Petition No. 6747 of 2025 in para 9, 10 and 11.

Mr. Rohaan Cama, learned Counsel appearing for the Respondent No.6, submits that he has no objection to the prayer in clause (a) to the Writ Petition seeking a direction for expeditious disposal of the Revision Petition by the Hon'ble Minister of Cooperation Department, but has opposed the continuance of the interim protection in favour of the Writ Petitioner. 3.

Mr. Khanavkar, learned AGP appearing for the State, has submitted, in his usual fairness, that within six weeks from today, the Revision Petition will be disposed of by the Hon'ble Minister. 4.

After taking note of the submissions made at the bar, we are of the view that no practical purpose will be served by keeping Writ Petition pending before this Court. We, therefore, dispose of this Writ Petition by providing that an attempt be made by the Hon'ble Minister to finally dispose of the Revision Petition filed by the Petitioner, alongwith the connected Application, if any, by a reasoned order, within six weeks from the date of this order. 5.

Till such time, a final order is passed in the Revision Petition, the interim order dated 14th July, 2025, as noted above, shall continue to hold the field.
