By an order dated 1st October, 2025, we had directed the Registry to verify whether this matter, which is filed under the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Act and the Rules framed thereunder, would lie before this Court or Court No.6. 2.
We have perused the report dated 3rd October, 2025. We donot agree with the report.

The assignment of this Court pertains to Labour and Service matters, including those pertaining to APMC, Municipal Corporation, Municipal Councils and Nagar Panchayats Act. Matters filed under the MHADA are not assigned to this Court. The roster assignment indicates that the learned Court No. 6 deals with the Labour and Service matters pertaining to APMC, Municipal Corporations, Municipal Councils and Nagar Panchayats etc., up to the year 2020. Matters pertaining to the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Act, irrespective of the years in which such matters are filed, are to be placed before the learned Court No.6. These aspects have not been considered by the Master and Assistant Prothonotary (Judicial) in her Report dated 3rd October, 2025." 4.
In view of the above, we direct the Registry to place this matter before the Registrar Judicial-I for placing this matter before the appropriate Bench.
