We had disposed of the above Writ Petition by our Order dated 15th December, 2025 by passing certain directions. We had placed it for reporting compliance, today.

Today, when the matter was called out, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the Revenue, on instructions, states that the directions given by us in the Order dated 15th December, 2025 are complied with, save and except that now the Assessing Officer has to pass an order giving effect to the Order passed by the CIT(Appeals).

2-wp-3961-2025.doc In view of the aforesaid statement and considering that the Writ Petition was already disposed of, no further orders are now necessary, save and except that the Assessing Officer shall pass an order giving effect to the Order of the CIT(A) as expeditiously as possible, and in any event, before 30th April, 2026.
