We are adjourning this batch of Petitions which pertain to the payment of transit rent on 17th December 2025 at 3:00p.m., as we are informed that the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Officer of MHADA would remain present in these matters.

2.

In the meantime, service of all the Petitions be effected. Even if Reply Affidavits are intended to be filed, the same shall be placed on record. 3.

Also, if any of the Respondents are inclined to deposit the arrears of transit rent with the respective authorities, they are free to do so. An intimation of the same be issued to the Advocate for the Petitioner so that amount can be withdrawn.

In the event there is no inclination to deposit, the appropriate orders on such petitions would be passed after hearing the parties. 5.

In respect of any additional issue in regard to possession, the Developers/Authorities are directed to take a fair stand and make an endeavour to resolve issues even on possession.

In the event any action in accordance with law is required to be taken, in respect of the possession or payment of transit rent, the authorities are not precluded from resorting to any such action as may be permissible in law.

As requested the parties have permission to file additional affidavits. 8.

The parties are also directed to give all the numbers of all the matters to the learned Associate of this Court so that matters involving similar issues can be placed and appropriate orders passed.

List all these matters on 17th December 2025 at 3:00p.m on a separate board.
