The above Writ Petition was disposed of by Order dated 17th February, 2026.
By the said Order, we had directed that the amount of refund of Rs.10,53,892/- be paid over to the Petitioner along with applicable interest till the date of payment, as expeditiously as possible, and in any event, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of the said order. The matter was placed today for reporting Compliance.

1-wp-4822-2025.doc Today, when the matter is called out, a further period of two weeks is sought by the Revenue for compliance of the Order dated 17th February, 2026.
Acceding to the request of the Revenue, we direct that our Order dated 17th February, 2026 shall be implemented as expeditiously as possible and, in any event, on or before 30th April, 2026. We make it clear that no further time shall be granted.
We now place the above matter on board "for Reporting Compliance" on 4th May, 2026.
