1. Perused Petition. Heard Ld. Advocate for petitioner. This petition is for Probate of last Will and Testament of deceased filed by petitioner namely Pooja Ashok Chotrani being Executrix named under the Will of deceased. The deceased namely Ashok Jhamandas died at Kolkatta on 04.02.2022. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition. Identification proof of deceased viz. copy of Aadhaar Card is annexed to the petition.

2. The deceased left behind his last Will and Testament which was duly executed at Mumbai on 11.06.2019. The said Will is in English language. The Para No.3 of the Will refers to the appointment of Executors. Only two Executors appointed under the Will. Petitioner is one of the executrices and another executrix namley Namrata Chotrani has reserved her rights to act as an Executrix and Affidavit dated 21.11.2025 is filed to that effect. Hence, prayer clause is required to be corrected as regards the reserving the rights of another Executrix. The said corrected are allowed. Ld. Advocate for petitioner to re-upload the corrected petition on the official portal of the Bombay High Court. Residuary clause in respect of properties of deceased is mentioned at 4th para of the Will.

3. Ld. Advocate for petitioner submits that mother of deceased predeceased the deceased. Deceased was survived by his widow and one daughter. Out of them widow is petitioner herein and daughter has given her consent in favour of the petitioner herein. Consent Affidavit is on record. There are no other legal heirs.

4. Petitioner's oath is filed. Affidavit of Ajay Vageria dated 31.01.2026 one of the Attesting Witness to the Will is filed. Affidavit of Service of General Citation dated 11.02.2026 is filed. Delay is explained and the same is condoned. All other legal formalities are complied with. Hence, petition is granted.

5. Office to issue Probate as prayed upon uploading the corrected petition on the official portal of the Bombay High Court after verifying whether any cross petition is filed or whether any caveat is filed. 18.03.2026 COMPANY REGISTRAR / TESTAMENTARY REGISTRAR
