This petition is for Succession Certificate in respect of certain securities belonging to deceased filed by petitioner namely Aditya Sanjay Patil being son of deceased. Deceased namely Sanjay Chandrakant Patil died intestate at Mumbai on 29.12.2020. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition. Identification proof of deceased viz. copy of Passport is already annexed to the petition.

2. Ld. Advocate for petitioner submits that mother of deceased predeceased the deceased. Deceased had widow and one son. Deceased was married to Deepa Mohan Rane and was divorced on 12.06.1999. After the divorced, the said Deepa re-married and the details of facts are mentioned No. 5 of the petition. Therefore, deceased was survived by one son only who is petitioner herein. There are no other legal heirs.

3. Petitioner's oath is filed. Affidavit of Service of affixation of General Notice dated 17.03.2025 is filed. As sole surviving legal heir of the deceased is petitioner before this Court and the right or interest of no other legal heir is required to be protected. Hence, Administration Bond is dispensed with. Delay is explained and same is condoned. All other legal formalities are complied with. Hence, petition is granted.
