TP/1532/2025 (E-filing) Mr. Rajan M. Jayakar, Advocate for petitioner PC : 1. Perused Petition. Heard Ld. Advocate for petitioner. This petition is for Succession Certificate in respect of certain securities belonging to deceased filed by petitioner namely Ulhas Manu Salunke being Administrator appointed by the Hon'ble Court in Administration Suit No. 34 of 2012. Copy of the said order dated 15.07.2022 is annexed to the petition as Exhibit - "B" and by the consent Minutes of order, the Administrator is directed to take all steps to recover and claim shares and dividends of estate of deceased. Deceased namely Ratan Ardeshir Choksey died intestate at Mumbai on 10.09.2005. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition. Petitioner has filed Affidavit dated 24.01.2025 for dispensation of identification proof of deceased. The same is accepted.

2. Ld. Advocate for petitioner submits that deceased died as bachelor. Deceased was survived by three nieces who all have given their consents in favour of petitioner herein. One niece of deceased namely Naznin Phiroze Chaina has filed her consent Affidavit through the Constituted Attorney namely Bakhtyar Kershasp Irani. Copy of Power of Attorney is annexed to the said Affidavit. Consent Affidavits are on record. There are no other legal heirs.

3. Petitioner's oath is filed. Affidavit of Service of affixation of General Notice dated 28.04.2025 and Administration Bond dated 07.04.2025 are filed. All other legal formalities are complied with. Hence, petition is granted.
