This petition is for Succession Certificate in respect of certain debts belonging to deceased filed by petitioner namely Freda Sibert Collaco being married sister of deceased. Deceased namely Valerie Jacinta Fernandes died intestate at Mumbai on 03.03.2020. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition. Identification proof of deceased viz. copy of Aadhaar Card is already annexed to the petition.

2. Ld. Advocate for petitioner submits that deceased died as spinster. Mother of deceased predeceased the deceased. Father of deceased since deceased the deceased. Deceased was survived by one brother and one sister. Out of them sister is petitioner herein and the brother has given her consent in favour of petitioner. Consent Affidavit is on record. There are no other legal heirs.

3. Petitioner's oath is filed. Affidavit of Service of affixation of General Notice dated 02.07.2025 and Administration Bond dated 12.08.2025 are filed. Delay is explained and same is condoned. All other legal formalities are complied with. Hence, petition is granted.
