This petition is for Succession Certificate in respect of certain securities belonging to deceased filed by petitioner namely Milind Balkrishna Karnik being brother of deceased. Deceased namely Vasant Balkrishna Karnik died intestate at Mumbai on 14.04.2004. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition. Identification proof of deceased viz. copy of Election Card is already annexed to the petition.

2. Ld. Advocate for petitioner submits that father of deceased predeceased the deceased. Mother of deceased since deceased the deceased. Deceased died as bachelor. Deceased was survived by one brother and one sister. Out of them brother is petitioner herein and sister has given her consent in favour of petitioner. Consent Affidavit is on record. There are no other legal heirs.

3. Petitioner's oath is filed. Affidavit of Service of affixation of General Notice dated 25.06.2025 and Administration Bond dated 24.06.2025 are filed. Delay is explained and same is condoned. All other legal formalities are complied with. Hence, petition is granted.
