This petition is for Succession Certificate in respect of certain securities belonging to deceased filed by petitioner namely Rhoda Lazarus Coutinho being sister of deceased. Deceased namely Richard Nelson Beresford died intestate at Mumbai on 29.03.2024. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition. Identification proof of deceased viz. copy of Passport is already annexed to the petition.

2. Ld. Advocate for petitioner submits that parents of deceased predeceased the deceased. Deceased died as bachelor. Deceased was survived by one sister and one brother. Out of them sister is petitioner herein and the brother has given his consent in favour of petitioner. Consent Affidavit is on record. There are no other legal heirs.

3. Petitioner's oath is filed. Affidavit of Service of affixation of General Notice dated 05.07.2025 and Administration Bond dated 11.08.2025 are filed. All other legal formalities are complied with. Hence, petition is granted.
