TP/2635/2025 (E-filing) Mr. Pranil Pawar i/b. Kamlesh More, Advocate for petitioner PC : 1. Perused Petition. Heard Ld. Advocate for petitioner. This petition is for Succession Certificate in respect of certain debts belonging to deceased filed by petitioner namely Vasanti Eknath Prabhu being sister-in-law of deceased. Deceased namely Muktabai Venkatesh Prabhu died intestate at Mumbai on 19.07.2024. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition. Identification proof of deceased viz. copy of Aadhaar Card is already annexed to the petition.

2. Ld. Advocate for petitioner submits that parents of deceased predeceased the deceased. Deceased died as spinster. Brother of deceased namely Eknath died on 06.05.2018 leaving behind his widow and one son. Deceased was survived by one sister-in-law and one nephew. Out of them sister-in-law is petitioner herein and the nephew has given his consent in favour of petitioner herein. Consent Affidavit is on record. There are no other legal heirs.

3. Petitioner's oath is filed. Affidavit of Service of affixation of General Notice dated 21.07.2025 is filed. Administration Bond dated 02.09.2025 is filed. Delay is explained and same is condoned. All other legal formalities are complied with. Hence, petition is granted.
