This petition is for Succession Certificate in respect of certain securities belonging to deceased filed by petitioner namely Kaniz Fatma Mohd Safdar Sayed being widow (second wife) of deceased. Deceased namely Mohd Safdar Sayed died intestate at Mumbai on 05.07.2018. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition. Identification proof of deceased viz. copy of Aadhaar Card is already annexed to the petition.

2. Ld. Advocate for petitioner submits that grandparents, father and first wife of deceased predeceased the deceased. Deceased had no issue from the second wife. Deceased was survived by widow (second wife) and one son from first wife. Out of them widow is petitioner herein and the son has given his consent in favour of petitioner. Consent Affidavit is on record. There are no other legal heirs.

3. Petitioner's oath is filed. Affidavit of Service of affixation of General Notice dated 23.07.2025 and Administration Bond dated 05.07.2025 are filed. Delay is explained and same is condoned. All other legal formalities are complied with. Hence, petition is granted.
