1. Perused Petition. Heard Ld. Advocate for petitioner. This petition is for Succession Certificate in respect of certain securities belonging to deceased filed by petitioner namely Meher Jimmy Engineer being niece of deceased. Deceased namely Jaloo Daryus Engineer died intestate at Mumbai on 04.08.1983. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition. Petitioner has filed Affidavit dated 03.12.2025 for non-availability of identification proof of deceased which is already annexed to the petition. The same is accepted.

2. Ld. Advocate for petitioner submits that parents of deceased predeceased the deceased. Deceased died as spinster. Deceased had only one brother namely Jimmy who died leaving behind his widow, one son and one daughter. Son of Jimmy namely Murzban died leaving behind his widow, one son and one daughter. Deceased was survived by sister-in-law, one niece, widow of nephew, one grandnephew and one grandniece. Out of them niece is petitioner herein and all other legal heirs have given their consents in favour of petitioner herein. Consent Affidavits are on record. There are no other legal heirs.

3. Petitioner's oath is filed. Affidavit of Service of affixation of General Notice dated 10.09.2025 and Administration Bond dated 24.02.2026 are filed. Delay is explained and same is condoned. All other legal formalities are complied with. Hence, petition is granted.
