1. Perused Petition. Heard Ld. Advocate for petitioner. This petition is for Succession Certificate in respect of certain debts belonging to deceased filed by petitioner namely Siddharth Vithoba Tambe being brother of deceased. Deceased namely Sanjay Vithoba Tambe died intestate at Mumbai on 03.12.2024. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition. Identification proof of deceased viz. copy of Aadhaar Card is already annexed to the petition.

2. Ld. Advocate for petitioner submits that parents of deceased predeceased the deceased. Deceased died as bachelor. Deceased had four (wrongly mentioned as five) brothers and one sister. Out of them two brothers died as bachelors and sister died as spinster. One brother of deceased namely Dattaram predeceased the deceased who died leaving behind his widow, one son and two daughters. Deceased is survived by one brother who is petitioner herein. There are no other legal heirs.

3. Petitioner's oath is filed. Affidavit of Service of affixation of General Notice dated 05.12.2025 and Administration Bond dated 27.02.2026 are filed. Delay is explained and same is condoned.

4. Ld. Advocate for petitioner seeks leave to carry out amendment in the petition. Amendment is allowed. Ld. Advocate for petitioner to carry out amendment in the petition within four weeks from the date of uploading of this order. Ld. Advocate for petitioner to re-upload the amended petition on the official portal of the Bombay High Court.

5. Liberty to move for listing the matter on compliance of requisition stated in Bold hereinabove.
