1. Perused Petition. Heard Ld. Advocate for petitioner. This petition is for Succession Certificate in respect of certain securities belonging to deceased filed by petitioner namely Mary Samuel being sister of deceased. Deceased namely Jessie Mathews died intestate at Darussalam, Brunei on 24.07.2021. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition. Identification proof of deceased viz. copy of Passport is already annexed to the petition.

2. Ld. Advocate for petitioner submits that deceased died as spinster. Deceased was survived by one sister only who is petitioner herein. There are no other legal heirs.

3. Petitioner's oath is filed. Affidavit of Service of affixation of General Notice dated 10.11.2025 and Administration Bond dated 08.01.2026 are filed. Delay is explained and same is condoned. All other legal formalities are complied with. Hence, petition is granted.
